"I recently went to the Restaurant on the 31st of December, and i Just want to say that even though services were slow my partner and I could see they were trying their best and they were extremely apologetic for the delay, the food was amazing and so was the service especially for the restaurant being fully booked, I saw another review saying the service was terrible however I just want to point out the fact that their were only 2 servers on and i would say around 40 customers one of the girls told me this was her first time working and that their was not really much they could do to train her since it was so busy so i understand why she was just “polishing glasses”. I hope to return soon. Great experience Kind regards Katie."

"We live locally and have visited Noi at Ferrymead several times, as it is our favourite place! The parking is easy, front and back; the premises are clean and attractive; the service is good without being intrusive; he, most importantly, the food is exquisite! We often (a couple) just share four entree plates with a glass of wine, as we are not huge eaters; but that’s enough to leave us very satisfied and full. We have been with friends and the main courses are HUGE, but equally good-often a doggy bag is required, but this makes it even better value as you have lunch or dinner for the next day for no extra charge! We recommend giving this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!"

"First time at Noi. We were sat by the window and had a nice view. The staff are friendly and give good service. The food was fresh and delicious and a good portion size. Even the tea pots and cups are beautiful and make my experience even more enjoyable. Those little bits of extra really help. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Noi"

"This came up on First Table, so we decided to give it a try. Wow just wow. Our dishes we would order again, however there's other delicious meals to taste. So reasonably priced without FT, which we'll be happy to pay. Thankyou so much to the host/chef on the day, you are just the epitome of how hospitality should be done. May 2026 be kind to you."

"Worth a trip to the other side of town on a lovely Christchurch evening. Warmly greeted, table with nice cold water ready for us. To start ginger beer for him, and a freshly opened bottle of French rosè glass for her (had 2 by the end of our beautiful meal). We started with a mixed platter, then for mains for him the black, pepper blaze with chicken; a very popular dish we were informed, and for her ginger garlic delight with chicken. Both meals beautifully cooked and served bu our hosts. The restaurant is very new and we don't mind being the only ones in there, gives us time to find out more about the food and owners. Definitely be back with our family. Easy parking, disabled spots close to door. Thank you for our first experience, it was wonderful. Highly recommended."

"Very friendly and effortful service from here. We ordered a late night takeaway via uber eats which never arrived, after explaining to Tony at Noi this had happened, even though they were closing in 3 minutes, the team kindly remade our meal and delivered it to us personally allowing us to pay by phone. Unbelievable service, we are very grateful as we were not able to get out to collect or shop for food at this time having just arrived to Sumner having just moved here. Thank you very much. Needless to say, the food was also DELICIOUS ! Great vegan options too!"
